Although I’ve flown many times in my past I must admit I was extremely nervous to go on my first cruise.  I caught a case of vertigo last year out of the blue and was convinced that being on the water may bring back that feeling of discomfort.  It didn’t take long for me to make up my mind to leave the country for a few days though.  My romantic life was on the rocks and I needed to get away bad. So, as I packed my luggage I read over the itinerary.  Apparently, this was supposed to be some kind of a celebrity cruise and I was to expect to see a number of performances.  Honestly I had no idea who most of the artists were on the bill, but my daughter knew them all and that did concern me a little.

Upon entering the boat right away a certain Mr. Khalid walked past me with his entourage.  I knew right away this cruise was going to be proper and that I would be so turnt up I would probably end up not remembering most of it.  That wasn’t the case.  We snuck a lot of liquor on the boat, so I was able to keep a decent buzz most of the time, however, I must admit I was a bit underwhelmed with the activities that took place.  First, there were some parties that were supposed to happen that didn’t (i.e. Nipsey Hustle party, Wakka Flocka concert on a private beach and not to forget to mention that only the pregnant city girl showed up because evidently the other one was in jail).  Anywho, Lil Baby came and did his thing! Cardi B, gave the best performance of the weekend, followed by a very low energy Dej Loaf and Trick Daddy.

The boat had a casino and two clubs onboard, all of which I failed to make it to, but I did enjoy undocking on the private island and meeting people and trying spicy conk in Nassau.  I was even able to make a couple friends on the ship with whom I went snorkeling with.  Overall, I enjoyed my first time on the water and I look forward to sailing the seas again soon.
